As the subject reads, Skyline is connected!
Internet on Desktop, laptop, Whole lotta fun to connect!!!
I m not here to promote Skynite 2010, I am here to witness more joining in & organizing get-togethers!
We are a strong team of more than 500 residents, yet we are far from knowing each other,
we work in different parts of Bangalore, yet we fail to recognize faces in skyline,
We walk around skyline as our routine evening walk, yet we dont turn around to watch whos passing by!
we see kids forming their groups in most of the corners of Skyline, yet no one dares to mingle!
Did we all decide to reside here to live for ourselves???? I guess NO...and i guess NOT!
Your neighbour becomes your family, your surrounding becomes your garden & people walking in your garden become your family........now! can you ignore ur family???
Think about it & correct me if I am wrong! Lets all come together n live as one! (Feds included) :)

Jokes apart your point of view is absolutely valid.. We don't know many people but the heart of the matter is that do we want to know??.. When I say that i don't mean Log on and say yes we want to.. I mean do you want to get into a system where you know people.. The main scare will then be anything you do tomorrow right or wrong will be debatable point and not many would want their topics 'especially personal ones' to be discussed. More the people you know more the number turning their heads at what you do and what you don't. Thats why some people would n want to get together at all.. Put in your best efforts to unite them won't work..
ADDENDUM- Would you donate blood tomorrow if there is a blood bank entering skyline with a mobile collection center tomorrow. Not many will cos nobody s going to see them anyway. You can meet people there as well. Half of them who would be there would be not very good looking and might have come there cos of their sound moral sense .But would you want to join in on the skyline celebration cos people there. Yes you would be dressed their in their very best for their one night under spotlight. So what are the kind of people you want to meet? is the kind who would impress you with their looks having nothing inside them or ones with a pure heart...... Would you choose the person whose blood might save you tomorrow or the person who put you their in the first place with a freak accident???????
ReplyDeletethinking hard on the topic i have an idea why don't we have somebody speak on what the skyline community can do to make somebody s life better on the d-day.... like blood donations, teach the unprivileged.. not monetary issues but what something which each individual can do...
